Yes, Falls Village is an all-private room facility.

All rooms are furnished with a flat screen T.V. with cable, a telephone with a direct dial phone number and Wi-Fi access at no additional cost. 

We believe in providing a healthy environment for you. Falls Village is designated as a “smoke-free” premises. Smoking is not permitted on the campus.

Falls Village is partnered with Arbor Rehabilitation and provides in-house therapies 7 days a week. We offer physical, speech and occupational therapy that is provided by a licensed and experienced therapist.

Nurses are on staff 24-hours a day to answer any questions or concerns you may have. Nursing care is provided under the direction of a professional Director of Nursing in coordination with physician’s orders. Licensed nursing assistants are also available to ensure that you receive proper care.

Physicians generally see patients upon admission and once a week thereafter. Our nursing professionals are in constant contact with all of our attending physicians.

We recommend at least 5 complete outfits. Suggested clothing are slacks, shirts, sweat suits, sleep wear and undergarments. As a general rule, clothing should be roomy and have large enough openings that they can be put on and removed with minimum stress.

Yes, personal laundry services are available at the facility. Please be sure to have all clothing marked clearly with the patient’s first and last name. Residents may also have family members take clothing home to launder.

Our meals are set in advance, however alternate choices are always available. Upon admission, each resident meets with the dietary manager to plan an individualized balanced diet, taking into consideration each resident’s likes and dislikes and dietary needs.

Visitors are always welcome 24/7 and we encourage visits by family and friends. For security purposes, the doors lock in the evening. Guests may use a call system to be buzzed into the building.

We would love for your family pet to come for a visit. Please remember to clean up after them and take the proper safety measures at all times. All pets are to be kept on a leash and should have all current vaccinations.

Yes, a resident may leave the facility on a Leave of Absence. However in certain situations, the length of time of the pass is restricted and may affect Medicare payments. Please check with our Social Service department for more information about Leave of Absenses.

How much your insurance will contribute towards skilled nursing care depends on the individual policy coverage guidelines. Our Admissions Director would be happy to meet with you to assess your particular situation.

Medicare is a health insurance program for people 65 or older or people under 65 with certain disabilities or end-stage renal disease. Medicare does not cover all expenses and is not designed to pay for long term custodial care so it is important to understand the program.

Medicare Part A helps pay for hospital stays, skilled nursing facility care, home health care and hospice care. Medicare helps pay for some skilled nursing care costs such as a semi-private room, meals, skilled nursing and rehabilitative services and other services and supplies for a skilled nursing stay after a related three-day inpatient hospitals visit. Medicare pays for 100% of days 1-20 of a qualifying skilled nursing stay, but there is a co-insurance charge for days 21-100.

The Medicaid program provides medical benefits for people with limited resources who have no medical insurance or inadequate medical insurance. The federal government establishes the general guidelines for the program, but each state establishes the program’s requirements including eligibility.
